Which model?

Hey guys my dad just got a remington pump shotgun at an auction and it is a bottom loading and bottom ejecting model. He called me and asked me if I knew what model it was and what years they produced it. I told him I didn't have a clue, but I would try and find out. I would really apreciate any and all help thanks guys.

Remington made many different models of pump shotguns over the years, most of which would fit your description. We need more info, like the model number (on the gun) and if possible the approximate age.

I forgot to add that it is a 12 ga. He also said that the saftey is similar to a browning auto 5 in that you have to push it forward and it is built in to the front of the trigger guard. He also said that it was old(I know not any help).

Sorry, for the limited info he said that there is not any model number #s that he can find on it. Sorry, that is all I could get until I can see it, even then I am not a shotgun expert.

Are there any markings at all on the gun? Any patent dates? Some good closeups of the action would probably help.

Model 10 or Model 29. I do not know offhand the difference. When I lived next door to the town repair gunsmith, he hated working on them.
