This Model 1973 Springfield Trapdoor's current auction price is $555:
http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...?Item=96379520 My 2003 edition Bluebook lists the Model 178, .45-70 Infantry Musket replica, 32 inch barrel, mfg. 1973 - 84 as being worth $75 less than the 1873 Springfield Trapdoor, which may possibly mean even more of a price disparity today. Then there's also the Officer's Model and the Model 173 which is similar to the Officer's Model with a 26 inch barrel. Do you have the 1873 Model, the Model 178 or other? The book values appear to be different for each. Last edited by arcticap; April 15, 2008 at 02:33 PM. |
