scope for muzzleloader

this might be a stupid question but will any scope work on a inline muzzleloader

Scopes

As far as I know any scope will work, If you use a 50mm scope you might need tall mounts for it to clear the top of the barrel.

i have a simmons 3-9x40 on my traditions tracker inline. can't get the front scope cover on all the way because of the rear rifle sight. would have to move it as far forward as possible. but i don't carry it with the covers on.

Traditionals:
I would never scope a Traditional "Style" rifle, as I feel that the spirits of Sam and Jake Hawken, would come down from the sky and smite me.

In-Lines:
To scope one is to try and get the Max. performance that it can present.

In either case:
I never tell a man what to do with his money or his wife.
