Baby desert eagle opinions please

I've heard nothing but good things about them except the slide mounted safety. I have the polymer .40 ( lighter than the steel) and love the feel of the grip& looks of the gun. The polygonal barrel is supposed to produce a little velocity and very accurate. If you like it , go for it. Of course it's always to try to bargain the price down. I paid $400 six months ago, but not sure I'd sell for $500 right now. But that's just me.
