Do the triggers and hammers of these rifles interchange? I need to find a good aftermarket trigger for an AR-10, and I'm having some difficulty locating a source.
Thanks! |

is it a true AR-10, built by Armalite during the 1960's or one of the modern ones?
Some of the modern AR-10's do use AR-15 trigger parts. |

It's a new-production Armalite flattop. Would, say, a JP replacement AR-15 trigger work?

As I look at Armalite's 1998/1999 catalog they list the following trigger group parts as interchangeable with the .223 M-15 version:
1) Safety Selector 2) Disconnector 3) Disconnector Spring 4) Standard Trigger 5) Trigger Spring They list the Hammer as AR-10 specific as is, obviously, the bolt and carrier assembly. The hammer difference pretty much blows the whole deal, eh? You might contact Armalite about some of their AR-10(T) trigger parts. www.armalite.com |
