Anyone have a reference???

I was wondering about the relationship between the elasticity of a brass case (bottlenecks specifically) and bore alignment of the bullet. I would imagine that a thicker, less elastic case would keep the bullet more centered (thus potentially more accurate) but I was wondering if anyone knew of a study that had some test data to chew on.
