Xd9 ProMag 20rd magazines
Looking at adding a few more magazines for my xd9 before the Colorado ban passes/takes effect. I found these ProMag 20 rounders, anyone have one? Hows it working out? Seen bad reviews for a 30 rounder so its out, curious about the 20 rounder, hows it feed? Holding up?
Thanks in advanced. Might just get three more 16 rounders from xd. |

Never had a ProMag that worked well. Mec-Gar mags are good to go and they have 18 rounders for the XD9. Otherwise factory 16 rounders.

Re: Xd9 ProMag 20rd magazines
Thanks Dave, those look hard to find in stock. Might just order a few facrtory mags as those are soon to be banned as well.

Well, ended up finding arredondo extended base pads, website I ordered from says I can get an extra 5 rounds out of it, but some reviews say only 4. Will still get me to the 20 round goal. If they look good and hold up to a few range days, might order a few more with some more factory magazines.

ProMags are range mags at best. I would not trust 'em with lives.

Promags are excellent range mags, especially when you want to practice failure drills.

Well ended up getting the Arredondo Extended Base Pads from Powder River Precision. 21+1. Base pad is one piece and slides on, came with a new spring.
Here's the link to where I got them. Will see how they do at the range very soon. http://shop.powderriverprecision.net...6&categoryId=4 |
