Finding year of manufacturing by serial number
Hello everyone, thank you for having me in this forum.
I have a question about year of manufacturing of an American Standard Tools revolver, in caliber 22short, with a serial number 10224? I know it is old, but I don't know how old as we don't see many old firearms in Israel and we don't have a data base about them. Ant help would be appreciated, Lior |

Like so? RIA says 1868-1873, I doubt you could find an exact date.

The years range you gave me is enough, because it means it's an antique one.
Thank you very much |

It's never possible to find the exact year, because they are manufactured for a period of years, but still 3 or 5 years don't make much difference.
