old single shot
Hey guys, I was aat my in laws house today when my FIL mention he had my GFIL's old shotgun and he wanted to shoot it. I told him I'd work on it as it was quiquite rusty and packed with grease. I got the barrel almost rust free now but I'm stuck on research for what model it is. It's a H&R 12 single shot. I wanted to know if anyone can point me in the right direction l.
It has a removable hinge, Snap on/off forend, and has a SN of 213999, no lettered prefixes. Also says 12 GAUGE CHOKE on the top of the barrel. also if the model can be pointed out I would also need to be poinTed in the direction of a diagram or video of how to break down the reciever if at all possible, this cheap old gun has great heirloom value to the family so I don't want to just take it apart without any reference. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with me. 9miller |

It sounds similar to the Harrison and Richardson that I have in front of me, but mine says "PAT FEB 20 & 27, 1909" and it has a removable hinge.
