Hello, I have an old 12ga side-by-side hammerless shotgun with dual triggers. On the left side of the receiver is "Ranger" on the right side "PAT.APR.20-1915". The serial number is 99845G, the barrel has this same number, less the G. The top of the left barrel is marked "12 GAUGE". I need the cocking mechanism that goes into a fixture on the underside of barrel. It also operates the extractor. Also any information (manufacture, etc.) about this firearm would be appreciated. Thanks. Sgt.K [This message has been edited by Sgt.K (edited March 01, 2000).] |

Thank you for the information.
I probably should have mentioned I inherited this sometime in the mid-70's. However, I will check with Numerich. Thanks again. Sgt.K |

There was a Ranger brand name used by Sears, Roebuck & Co. from about 1930 to WWII on shotguns made for them by Stevens Arms Co. in two models same as Model 315 and Model 215.
