Martini-Enfield serial number?
G'day. I want to locate the serial number on a Henry-Martini Enfield .303 . There are varios numbers and other markings on the weapon but I am not sure what I am looking at.

G'day and thanks for the link. Am having IT problems that are taking a little while to sort out, so it sometimes takes a while to respond.

Go here and scroll down to question #9. The other marks are explained too. .303 Martini-Henry's were converted .577-450's. Been looking for a decent one for about 30 years with no success. http://www.martinihenry.com/faq.htm
