Refinishing

I have a mate chrome desert eagle .50ae and i want to get a .44 magnum barrel for it too, i have found a couple good deals on barrels but they are all in a blued or black finish, can a gunsmith refinish a barrel to match my mate chrome barrel?

A gunsmith likely will not, but you can send the barrel out to be done.

http://www.trippresearch.com/ is probably the best and most well known chrome plater. I expect the job to run under $100.

i have e-mailed that company to see if they can match a black barel to my mate chrome one. thanks alot.

No problem. Hard chrome mimics the surface under it. A bead blasted surface will come out matte when chromed.
