870 20 gauge upgrades
hey guys-i have an 870 WM and with niec wood and everything but might want to upgrade it some-are there any 20 gauge mag extensions? where could i get em? the stocks will work for 12/20 but ive only seen 12 gauge extentions

George Stringer, down on the Smithy Forum here, makes up or has access to some of these. Check there first, one correspondent of mine did this and was pleased with the result.
Also, Joe, the best accessory for your new 870 is lots of ammo. Buy ammo, use up, repeat(G)... |

I've seen some all steel 20ga 8 rnd extensions on Ebay and Auctionarms. Claimed they were Choate manufactured.
http://www.tanksrifleshop.com/ lists an Choate extension for the Rem 1100 LT 20ga, which may fit the 870. It's worth checking out. |

i did just buy 100 rounds of trap ammo the other day and some slugs to try out lol-and im going to trap practice this afternoon -and a competition 2 weeks from today

hi
got bak from the shooting range about 4 and it was windy! it was about 50 degrees out and 25 mph wind and 40 gusts-it litereally moved me around a bit and the clays were jumping and shootng all over-it was fun though -didnt keep score out of the 50 i shot but i probably hit 30
