Old NIB Belgium Browning A5 question.

I grew up with a Belgium-made Sweet Sixteen in my hands and know these guns fairly well. However, I can't seem to run down anything on this gun. It's a Light-Twelve, gold trigger, no engraving, round knob, the writing on the barrel isn't in english, and the serial number is 65/II865. I've called Browning directly, spoken with people at several of Cabelas Gun Libraries and I can't seem to pin anything down aside from the opinion that it was probably made for European sales. Any info would be great.

Identical to the Browning marked Auto-5 guns sold in the US, all of which were made by Fabrique Nationale. This is just a European market gun. All the parts interchange etc.
