Lauer's weaponry

I like the Lauer's finish. I apply it with an airbrush and it is tough as nails when finished. You can get a variety of colors and they all use a hardner. I have used the stainless paint and the flat black and recomend them. You could go with Krylon or any other spray paint and get satisfactory ewsults from them if you don't have an airbrush or spray equipment. I have camo'd a few with it and they work well as long as you degrease the part first.

re-paint

Dear Sir:
Guess what? I hate to admit it but I use backyard barbecue paint!
I had a Remington pump, cleaned (smoothed) off the old birch stock, sprayed it with barbecue grille paint and it's still on great with oils etc.

get the lauer's

If you have access to an airbrush, I would get the Lauer's. It comes with a hardener that is very tough to chip or crack.
