Looking for revolver grips
I'm looking for grips for 2 different guns: the Colt Python, and the S&W 629 (square frame). Specifically, I'd like a really small grip. Something like a boot grip would be ideal, but I have no idea if there any grips like those for these two wheelguns. I'm not sure if small grips can even fit onto these guns. Can anyone throw out some grips for me?

That's going to be tough, because both guns have fairly big grip frames, and they just aren't set up for something like a boot grips.
Standard "Service type grips are available, but these are square on the bottom. You're probably going to have to go custom made or semi custom. If the 629 is a newer version that has a round butt grip frame Eagle makes a "Secret Service" boot grip: http://www.eaglegrips.com/guns/revie...h-SS9R-42.html Eagle does, or did do custom work, so possibly they'd make you something for the Python. |
