Target shootin fun

Got bored shootin at a black square or red dot sooooo
Had a hole bunch of small water bottles that wifey uses.
Had her fill them up with cheap sugar free jello. Found a life size pic of a prairire dog and made a bunch of cut outs using 90 lb. paper. Made slits about mid-section of dog and used a rubber band to attached it to bottles.
Sat them up randomly over our private shooting range and blasted away.
Great practice for the portable shooting bench and keeps my shootin eye sharp.
Use wide mouth bottles and leave top off. Results are impressive and it turned out to be a good way to determine amount of damage done by different bullets (Spitzer, Vmax, Nosler and Sierra Blitzking).
Blitzking definitely does good job.
It's winter and log hauling is slow (non-existent) so have time on my hands.
Not a good thing for shooters - too much time to think (so says woman).
And yes, clean-up is a little troublesome but I use one of those little grabber thingys so dont have to bend knees tooo much. It doesnt take that long and for me the fun outways the drawbacks.
