Hi Bill,(or should I say Howdy )
Well the title pretty much says it all. where can I find out more about it? I have read a few articles about it (CAS) and it looks like a blast (pun kinda intended). I guess the biggest question is where? I live in NE Ohio, and I've asked around at the local gun shops, they look at me like a Clint Eastwood wannabe. |

Howdy Hal,
Nothing wrong with a Clint Eastwood wannabe, but you do need a clever alias, unlike the Man with No Name. There are five clubs in Ohio, and a bunch in PA. Chances are one or two are close enough to make it an easy drive for you. CAS City Check this page for a listing of clubs in your area. If you don't see one near you,let me know and I'll send you a listing of the clubs provided by the Single Action Shooting Society. Find a club near you and go watch a match. You'll find friendly folks who are more than willing to show you their guns and fill you in on CAS. The CAS City page will also answer a bunch of the questions you might have,or just ask them here, and you'll get the info you need. Bellicose Bill
Thanks for the info. I'll check into it. I already see there is one location about 4 miles from home , now all I gotta do is come up with the guns and the dud's, and a name of course. Hal |

Howdy,
Bunches of cowboy shooters in Fla. Check out CAS City for a listing of all of the clubs in Fla.,along with contacts and the dates they shoot. Also, the South Florida Renegades are having a big shoot this weekend. Bellicose Bill [This message has been edited by Bill Mitchell (edited 10-22-98).] |
