Universal M1 carbine/USGI parts ?

I picked up a clean Universal carbine at the gun show for cheap,because a burr was slowing the bolt. After a little stoning,good as new. That started me thinking, will GI parts fit this carbine or will I have to find Universal spares for repairs?

3 gun, many parts will interchange but a lot won't. If you need to order parts, my recommendation is to either let your local smith do it for you or go to www.gunpartscorp.com and order what you need COD Gun Parts (now Numerich again) will get you the right parts. Be sure to include all your rifle info when ordering. George
