Remington 870 P Max
Just picked up an 870 P max (comes with scattergun tech sights, pistol grip and sure-fire light) and am thrilled with it --- metal trigger guard, no lock on safety fit and finish are superb, handeling is great --- better than my old Banelli M1 super 90 for me --- can't wait to go shoot it --- only thing I'd add would maybe be a trittium front dot but maybe not as I have the sure-fire on it --- was suprised as I asked in passing if my dealer could order one and he did .. guess the guy knows me too well. . .

Remington's best defensive 12-gauge, in my opinion.

Yeah is a decent price too for what you get though I would have liked a tritium front sight as well --- the pistol grip stock and the sure-fire woudl be pricey to add on, I figure I came out about 75-150 ahead of where I would be if I built it up myself on a reguar 870 - P , thought of doing a build up on a used gun but the one nice gun I found to do it on I snoozed and lost out on the rest I have seen of late used had the plastic stuff on them and would have needed a refinish anyway which puts me back in the price of a new gun.

I've had mine for about 6 months now...talk about a work-horse. I love mine, wouldn't change a thing. Eventually I might put a Knoxx on it, but I am concerned about what it would do to my sling options. Besides, I'm happy with the stock and recoil pad that's already on it.
Since I'm purchased mine, I put a Specter Gear 3-Point Tactical Cross Shoulder Transition (CST) Sling and a Specter Gear 6 Shell Buttstock Shotshell Holder. Both the sling and shell holder are in Coyote Tan. LOVE IT...couldn't be happier with how the Specter Gear and the shotty are holding up. |
