Load data for 7mm Rem Mag?

Looking for a place to start with 150 grain Sierra game king, reloader 25. Also favorite loads of your own powder and bullets. Thank you guys.

My favorite load for the 7mm Rem Mag is 64.2 grains IMR 4831 under the 140 Nosler Ballistic Tip, lit by CCI Large Rifle Magnum primers. 3180 fps and very accurate out of our Savage 11FV.

The Sierra Manual has all the load data you need - it is worth the expense
For large animals, their 160 grain bullet works well

I'd start at their website. I had good luck with that powder and 160 gr bullets.

A couple of other sources if you decide to try other powders

With a 139 grainer, I use 66.0 of RL22 or IMR 7828
With a 150, I use 64.0 of either
RL25 is a bit slower, refer to the Alliant booklet
Either load shoots like a laser beam.

CAUTION: The following post includes loading data beyond currently published maximums for this cartridge. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Neither the writer, The Firing Line, nor the staff of TFL assume any liability for any damage or injury resulting from use of this information.

In 2011 I hunted with 66 gr H4350 150 gr in a 7mmRM I built with a 26" Lothar Walther barrel. It got 3250 fps with that rifle I shot a deer and an antelope. But with another rifle, a 26" Ruger #1 factory barrel it got 3350 fps.

That is 9 gr more than Hodgdon's published max load, but I am still getting long brass life.

I got that load by working up to the threshold of short brass life, and then backing off 4% powder charge.

Taking Crowbeaner's advice a step further, I use 65.0 grains of RL22 or IMR7828 behind 160 gr Nosler Accubond. A lot of deer, elk and moose have fallen to that load for my friends and me. Those are max loads, so work up.

My dad likes H1000 and 160 Accubonds not sure what the powder charge is but it shoots solid 3/4" groups in a factory Rem 700.
