help ID my mauser action please!!!!
Hey guys so I could use some help finding out some info on my commercial mauser action. I have scanned the internet for several weeks now but I still can't figure out who made my action or a possible manufacture date era. I do know its a magnum action and its made in spain. I was kind of thinking it could be a santa barbara action but the spain stamp is under the tang and not on the left side, as I've seen on other SB actions. Other than the spain stamp and the s/n there is a stamp underneath the front of the receiver and nothing else. Anyone got any ideas on the manufacture of this?
Thanks Last edited by age2285; February 21, 2013 at 04:27 AM. |

IIRC, a Spanish arsenal, CETME, converted to commerial manufacturing in the late 50's/early 60's, and made those Santa Barbara actions/rifles.
