Parts Needed for a Marlin 336

A friend asked me where he could find a "Loading Spring" (part # 101194) for a Marlin Model 336/RD - 30/30 along with the loading spring screw (part # 301091).

Anyone have any ideas?

Thank you.

Loading gate, you mean?
The screw and gate are easily obtained.

They're available from all kinds of places.
Marlin
MidwayUSA
Brownell's
24hour Campfire (not recommended)
Numrich Gun Parts (used)
Western Gun Parts (used - not recommended)
And more...

The Marlin Model 444, Glenfield Model 30 / 30A, and a few other 'store-brand' rifles use the same parts.

Search terms that will help, if using google:
"Marlin 336 loading gate."
"Marlin 336 loading gate screw."
"Marlin 444 loading gate."
"Marlin 444 loading gate screw."
"Glenfield 30 loading gate."
Etcetera...

Pretty sure (don't quote me), that 'Loading Spring' was what the loading gate was called back in the days of paper Guns Part Corp catalogs...

I'll see if I can dig one up around here...

I recommended Brownells and Numrich. All we can do.

No need to dig.
I know the term does get used.

And I just checked the current Owner's Manual, only to find that Marlin has, in fact, reverted to the term "loading spring."

Even so... One is likely to get more hits with a search engine when using "gate" in place of "spring".
