Bushmaster 30 round mags at Wally World!

I'm wondering if Bushmaster is dumping mags before the ban. My local Wal Mart had about 100 30 round AR mags today. They just got them in this morning, I was in buying a garden hose of all things and happened to wander by the gun case. Still no ammo in stock. I picked up two mags at $24.95 each.

NO WAY! (as the Berettaprofessor dashes out to the truck and Walmart on the off-chance that it's not a hoax!)

I think he is referring to the infamous threatened assault weapons / high capacity magazines / etc. ban which has been all over the media , the internet , politics and life in general. Where have you been off to lately ? Welcome back.

I feel like its a lot harder to find a good garden hose than a good 30 round mag.

Went back today at noon and they were all gone. Sold out in less than 24 hours. That's OK. I have a few mags, don't really need anymore, but was going to pick up a couple for a friend. Still no ammo anywhere. Crazy.

I also say what ban. Unless you're in a state that plans on putting a ban into effect because there wont be one federally.

Lol. Just wait... If that assault hose ban passes. We can only have ten foot hoses, who really NEEDS a thirty foot hose!? Who comes up with this stuff!

Yeah - I've never seen magazines at a Wal-Mart here. I didn't know they sold them.

I've not seen any here either. Maybe one of the walmarts that carries guns would but I don't frequent them often. I got a box of 45 ACP I have been scrounging for to test a gun with. They had 6 boxes of WWB and one of federal. 3 100 packs of 38 special and some other things.

Not only am I wondering what assault ban, but what panic? I remember checking the walmart amm counter for daily for weeks straight in 2008 and never coming up with any pistol rounds or"military" rifle cartridges.
