Identify Old Baker Shotgun
I have an old double barrel 16ga shotgun with hammers. Says "Baker Gun Co" on one side, and "Batavia, NY" on the other. On the trigger guard if says what looks like "18Model87". On hook of barrel, it has "D" "H" and "X" marks. Serial number is 33024. Anyone know about this gun?

"Baker Gun Co." is one of the names used on shotguns made by Crescent
Arms. Along with about a huindred others. List here: http://www.briley.com/articles/grampas_shotgun.html However---the Baker Gun and Forging Company in Batavia NY is a different critter. Info on it here: http://www.bakercollectors.com/index...the-Baker-Guns I guess I'm not sure just WHAT you have! |
