Yeah I saw that data, but do I treat the FMJ RN that I have the same as SPR GDHP, for the 115gr, and the 124 gr FMJ RN that I have the same as 125 GR. SIE FMJ.
I have studdied and printed off all the data for all the calibers I reload from the Hodgen sit, just want to be sure I can use that data for what i am looking to do. Thanks |

Match the bullet weight, start at the start charge, work up.
The Gold Dot is a plated bullet (not jacketed like some believe), so the actual max with the GDHP will be less than with jacketed. |

^^^what he said...The powder manufacture's can't test every bullet available. The list would be VEEERRRRRYYYYYY long. Match up with their list as best you can. Happy reloading!!!

My standard load for 115 gr LRN is 4.6 or 5.0 gr WW231 seated at COL = 1.130".
4.6 gr is if I want a lighter load for new shooters, and the 5.0 is near max for "factory equivalent" practice that is closer to POA..

I checked my Midway LoadMAP and for the 115gr FMJ, it recommends 3.4gr to 4.6gr of Win231 - giving a range of 850fps to 1102fps with an OAL of 1.169" out of a 4" barrel.
It doesn't have any listing for 124/125gr bullets of any type.
