The cool Tactical accessories that do not work thread

Guys,
Thought it would be beneficial if we could get a thread going covering tactical gear that does not work well on a shotgun.

Please add your experiences with that POS add on gear......

I've seen a pistol grip Mossberg, still having the thumb safety on top.

Savage makes their smokeless muzzleloader that way. Somebody didn't think that out well, eh?

you'd be the first I've heard that from. of the 3 I've had I only thought 1 was decent and that was a dragonov fixed SKS stock. the mosin nagant stock required WAY too much fitting and the side folding shotgun stock was a complete piece of crap. who thought it was a good idea to make a folding stock completely out of plastic? that thing was soooo loose.

He said he liked them. He did not say that they worked well!

Laser pointers attached with electrical tape don't work too well, unless you really know what you're doing.

I know right? Some people and their "evil black tape"! Don't they know duct tape comes in black and has been proven far more tactical.

i like the guys that have 26 shell holders on their shot gun, holding 2.5 boxes of shells, making the gun weigh 56lbs.

Duct (duck) tape NO -- Gaffer tape YES
If you're going to do a Rambo improvisation, then use the correct Hollywood tape.

My grandpaw has a Mossberg 500 with one of those really cool looking barrel shrouds sitting on top of it. Im pretty sure this thing serves no purpose other than to make the gun look really mean.

Top-Folding ATI stock for my Mossberg 500. It is just a heavy chunk of cash I threw down the drain.

We put ATI's on 2 Mosin M44's and they fit great. ATI on my HiPoint 995 made me want to keep the carbine. I am an ATI fan.

I have a Mini14 and a rem 870 with ATI stocks and they work great for me. The Mini stock needed a little dremel action but that didn't bother me and the 870 dropped right in. Fired several hundred rounds through each since and no problems.

One'a these here fancy chot-gun silencers that has a hole in the end, smaller than the bore diameter of the barrel...reckon you have to train your buckshot to line up like baby ducks before exiting the barrel... and THAT must take some doing.

It really should have been rattle-canned to a flat black though, for the proper tack-tickle effect.

The only good shotgun is a classic Remington 870 Wingmaster or Winchester Model 12 with a blued finish and a nicely figured and checkered walnut stock.

Tactical shotguns and tactical shotgun add-ons are a toddler's pipe dream.
