Question About Rem 700 SPS Varmint & Action
I have a Remington 700 SPS Varmint in .308.
The other day I went to the gun shop and asked him for a Picatinny style mount for my US Optics. I told him it was a Remington 700 SPS Varmint in .308, but I think he handed me the wrong mount. The mount he handed me was for a regular or Long Action. Is the .308 a short action? |

OK. I'll take it back tomorrow. Thanks.
The rail didn't look right on there. It was about 1 inch longer. |
