I always wondered why have'nt any manufactrers made a .22LR conversion kit for the Browning Hi-Power. I believe that it would sell a great deal. I mean Ciener and other conversion kits for the 1911 clones are selling great quantities.
CZ is selling the Kadet conversion kit. I know Colt made one called the ACE for the 1911s way back, some had the floating chamber. Kimber and Wilson Combat make them. Luger PO8s at one time had conversions available. I believe I saw a picture of a conversion for a Makarov, at www.makarov.com. HK had .32 ACP conversions for its P7 or P8 I'm not sure which. Any others?? |

Anand, check with Ciener. I thought I had seen the HP conversion advertised in the Shotgun News. George

Peters Stahl has made Browning HiPower .22LR conversion kits, and they were even briefly imported by Pachmayr. Unfortunately, I am not certain as to their current status on production or importation.

Hi, folks,
Ciener doesn't show BHP conversions in the current SGN, but try their site at www.22lrconversions.com (that's "22LR" as in long rifle, not two two one R) or phone 321-868-2200. Jim |
