scope for an AR 15 ?

I am looking for a decent scope for my AR in 223. Looking for one with a decent price. What do you guys recommend, weaver, BSA, etc. ? Maybe a 4-14 power.

AR Scope

I've been very pleased with a Leupold Mark AR....Leupold CS will create custom DC dials, and their customer service is outstanding

Check out www.soldierarmsandsurplus.com, they have a lot of scopes and optics on their site.

What ranges will you be shooting? 4-14 sounds like overkill unless it is a varmint gun. I have a Burris MTAC 1.5-6x40 on my Colt M4/LE6920, but I shoot 50 - 150 yards mostly.

How much did you pay for the Burris MTAC?

EOtech, sights....

For hard use or milspec type duty, Id check the EO Tech sights. They are in use with many SWAT, DEA/ICE/FBI agents, spec ops.
Trijicon has the ACOG too. They are popular.

I wouldn't go with cheaper than diamonds. Their prices are ridiculous. You can also check here.

I shoot 100 yds and out to 300 yds that is as long as our club range is, I plan on varmint hunting as well that is why I am looking a higher power

There are some good deals lately on the Nikon Buckmaster 4.5-14X40.
And there's the Vortex Diamondback 4-12X40.
