Sharps Gunsmithing info help!!!!!!!!!
I bought a used .54 Sharps rifle and I need to get information on how to remove the combustion chamber liner. Apparently it has never been removed and it is stuck in there. It moved back a hair just enough so I can't get the breechblock back in. I can't get it to move either in or out. I bought one of the tools Dixie Gun works has to remove it but won't get it for a week or so and I would like to get this thing cleaned up before then. Do any of you have any ways of getting this out without messing up the gun? I have sprayed Ballistol and other penetraiting stuff on it but it won't budge. Any ideas will be appreciated...

Some folks drive in a dowel rod and twist to get it out.
