PIF AR JIG
I also frequent rimfirecentral on occasion and I have noticed they have a jig going around for drilling the rear cleaning hole in a 10/22. I have been considering an 80% AR build and thought this might be a good idea. If I buy one it will be for one or maybe two lowers and then get thrown in the closet.
Of course, the ar-15 jigs are a set, costs a little more, is a little more complicated, and TFL is probably a little more open of a forum. I was thinking to start it off with a bit of a group buy for the jig and then to keep it rolling after the original buyers are done. Also wondering about the various jigs and their compatibility with different 80% receivers. The two I like so far are: http://www.ar15jigs.com/drilljigs.html http://www.tacticalmachining.com/80-...s/80-jigs.html |

This is a good idea.
I've been in some clubs before where the club owned some equipment and it was available for checkout to members and it worked just fine. If I ran a gun club this is the kind of thing I'd like to provide for the members. Good luck. |
