Need Info: Winchester Model 50 Autoload Shotgun
--
-Can anyone direct me to an online source of technical repair information for this gun. I have ordered 2 so-called manuals online, which have turned out to be nothing more than copied, superficial information that does not go into the in-depth technical detail I am looking for, such as: ---detail (complete teardown) stripping the Model 50 ---troubleshooting malfunctions ---detailed repair procedures I will appreciate your help....I am posting this in the Smithy and the Shotgun forums for more exposure. Thanks, Wolf Lies Down |

Win 50 repair manual
PM me your postal address and I'll send you a copy of the original Winchester repair manual. It has illustrated takedown/assembly and trouble shooting info.

My dad had one that he got when he was a kid, when I was a kid I dropped many dove and quail with it. Nice shotgun, it will occasionally jam in the "open" position and require some finesse to release, most likely to happen upon chambering the first shell. Its my shotgun now, and I'm trying to do a bit of refinishing on it, yet can't find ANY teardown guides for it. Any suggestions? I guess there weren't all that many of this particular shotgun produced, not much out there for it.
