Well, I started the book a few days ago in earnest and finished it today. In a nutshell, it is about the man and his times with some mention of the gun. Contrary to my statement that the author does not mention the use of electricity to power the gun, she does. If you want to learn about the gun, Paul Wahl and Don Toppel's book, The Gatling Gun is superior.

Rough Riders with Tom Berenger as T.R. shows Lieutenant Parker's Gatling Guns in asction. And that is historically correct.
