strange copper deposit on ML nipple

Hey everyone

So I was cleaning my ML last night and got to taking out the nipple and there is a copper colored deposit in the flash hole. I cleaned the nipple after shooting over the summer and was just wondering if anyone could tell me how this could of happened or if there is anyway to rememdy it short of buying a new nipple. I have tried using a nipple pick and it is soaking in hoppes no 09 right now.

thanks for any info

fixed the problem there was a #11 cap stuck in the flash hole pushed it out with a safety pin
