A box of fun and excitement!

Check out this box that arrived today from Brethren Armament.

They built these guns for me.

Big shout out to Kyle and Quinn at Brethren Arms for their awesome work.

Ohhh...the excitement...

MP5K built on an SP89. With B&T stock, B&T fore end, and H&K vertical grip. This gun has a registered Flemming sear.

Close up of the fore end set up. I really like the skeletonized rail system of the B&T. The H&K vertical grip is way awesome.

Front sight post replaced with a Trijicon glow in the dark sight.

B&T stock unfolded. Gun has a registered sear.

H&K vertical grip fits my hand better than the original K grip.

MP5 with A3 stock, built on an HK94. This gun has a registered Flemming sear.

MP5 with A2 stock. This gun has a registered F/A trigger box. Since it has a registered box, the parts are all factory internal, including the newer roller sear. I have other registered trigger boxes, and I keep all my trigger boxes in SEF configuration. I don't have courage to cut them into ambi boxes.

Many people say they prefer the A2 full size stock to the A3, but the MP5 in 9mm is very soft. Unless you're shooting the 40SW/10mm variant, I can't notice a difference in comfort or recoil between the stocks. I think the A2 stock is a bit cumbersome, but I like having variety. Smaller shooters tend to prefer the A2 stock.

On a side note, I commissioned Kyle of Brethren Armament to develop a cocking tube laser for the MP5. There isn't one on the market, as the company that made the cocking tube laser, Laser Devices, Inc., is out of business. If anyone is interested, they'll make them available beyond my prototype, if there is enough interest.

Lovin it!

Tony we all get to live vicariously through you........

Would love to own an SMG, and the MP5 is number one on my wish list.

That said, I'm afraid my future might entail standing at a freeway on ramp with a sign that says.........Will work for ammo.

Have fun with your new toys. Congratulations.

Thanks for the kind words, gentlemen.

Ricklin, I grew up poor and was dirt poor in college. Now I wear a suit to work every day, shoot fun guns, and live the American Dream. But wow, those first years of building my business were a terrible struggle. I always root for the underdog. I think my gun collection is my way of compensating for those lost years.

Is there a way to embed video in a post? I have video test firing these guns this past weekend.
