Has anyone have experience with the "Rack em" systems that cabelas sells? It's the vault door handgun rack. I have a large Liberty safe

I just looked them up as I had never heard of them before.

Most of the Liberties have shelving that sits pretty close to the door when in the closed position. Anything you hang on the door may take up that much corresponding space on the shelving. You may be just as well off with a rack that sits on the shelf.

I have one on my Liberty safe. Had to adjust my shelves a notch or two for the guns to clear when the door is closed. If you have some long barreled hand guns you may not be able to use all the hangers, no problem if they have short barrels. Impressive to see those S&W's hanging on the door when it's open.

I have one and it works pretty good. It is a pain to get setup to clear the interior the first time. I added one gun at a time and checked by closing the door.

Thanks guys. I was thinking I may have to measure shelf distance. Expypate, those are adjustable right?

Yes, the slide across to any position and can be moved up and down on the rack. I actually use two of the holders for both my S&W 500s. They are kinda long for just one holder.
