Using 55 grainer ina 218 bee?

Hi guys how well do 55 grain projectiles work in the 218 Bee?

I ask because I have about 1000 more than my 223 really needs.

I don't have a Bee so can't give you a direct answer. But with the high demand for anything 223 today I would bet you could sell/trade those 55s.

They must. There's data in my old Lyman book. And on Reloader's Nest using Lil gun and a Game King.

My Winchester 43 in 218 Bee has a 1:14 twist, so I would say yes, it should stabilize it. Your problem will be COAL with the 55 gr bullet. You might wind up pushing the bullet into the lands, or lose a lot of case capacity because of seating too deep. But by all means, try it.
