Ishapore 2A1--what constitutes "matching numbers?

Okay, I went through my 2A1 tonight, giving it a thorough cleaning, and I got my interest peaked about what constitutes "matching numbers" for one of these. For instance, the serial number on the receiver matches the bolt and the nosecap, but not the number on the buttstock, buttplate, or rear sight adjustment.

So does that mean I have a Frankengun, or am I looking at different sets of numbers?

On a Brit made gun it would be:
Receiver, Bolt, magazine, nose cap, all numbered wood. (not all wood pieces were numbered)

I am honestly not sure how well this translates to a 2A1 though.

If all parts smell equally of curry, you're about as good as you're going to get with the 2A1's I've seen. I don't think any of the numbers on mine match, but it shoots okay.

Bolt, body (receiver), barrel, rear sight leaf, nose cap, forend, and, in the case of the Indian 2A and 2A1, the magazine. (Most Brit .303 No. 4 and 5 rifles also had numbered mags.)
