Developing a tried and true pet loads database for reloading? I have a database set up in MS Access, 97 or 2000. I would like to e-mail it out and have each person add their favorite reloads then send it back, I will import all of the data and turn it into a large data base and send it out to all who wish it, Handgun, rifle only, will build a separate one for shot gun if you wish. Good idea/bad idea let me know.

The mind that aims at a select militia, must be influenced by a truly anti-republican principle; and when we see many men disposed to practice upon it, whenever they can prevail, no wonder true republicans are for carefully guarding against it. ---Richard Henry Lee, The Pennsylvania Gazette, Feb. 20, 1788 Take care and God Bless, El Jefe The ANTI-HCI Site! |

El Jefe,
Mail it to me in 97. I'm currently working on learning Access and am building a Personal Firearms Record DB. One of the tables I have planned is Reloading Data. Would like to look at what you have (DB wise not so much the data right now). Might want to incorporate it into mine. If you want I'll send you what I have... but keep in mind I'm a beginner at Access, the DB is very basic, and it is a work in progress. ------------------ Schmit GySgt, USMC(Ret) NRA Life, Lodge 1201-UOSSS "Si vis Pacem Para Bellum" |

Send it to me in 2000! My wife is the ACCESS master as she possesses her M.O.U.S. (Microsoft Office User Specialist) license in it. She made me a wonderfull program where I just go and enter my group sizes, and it automatically calculates the corrected (for diameter) and average size.

Okay I sent them out, I would really appreciate some feedback, especially from the MOUS...LOL Put your tried and true reloads in there and put your name in the remarks block with an e-mail address, this could get big, I may have to create a page for it on my website and make it updateable from the net.

Joe will get yours out tonight.
Doc let me know what the Missus says about improving it, would like to know, I have already made several improvements. GySgt, Incorporated a Switch board on the new version just for you, will come in handy for expansion purposes, hadn't used one to begin with because I only had one form and one report. Will end up specializing it a little more to expand capabilities. Which brings me to my next point, what factors and what formula do I need to figure muzzle velocity? ------------------ ...“ They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.” --Benjamin Franklin, Historical Review of Pennsylvania, 1759. Will be gone for a few days and will process any requests when I return on Sunday. For those of you who have been holding back on their opinion / Ideas for improvement I am still looking forward to seeing them.
