The one that I owned was dependable for me. The only FTF or FTE I ever had with it was one failure to chamber a round and that was during the first magazine and I put just over 700 rounds through it. So yes I would say it was dependable. Unfortunately I could also depend on it to throw casings at my head on a regular basis so I finally sold it.

I have one and love it. I had two fte's early on, but I adjusted the combo spring on the right side and it's been perfect ever since.

I really, really like mine. They carry light, and shoot straight and easy.

Buy it, and log on to kahrtalk.com. Tons of Kahr info there, and one sub forum dedicated to the CW45.

I'm an older guy and becoming more and more recoil sensitive. With that out in the open, I'll say that I found both the P45 and TP45 I bought to be less than enjoyable to shoot. Especially with +P ammo, I had a hard time maintaining a tight, unbreakable grip. This made shooting with any speed hard to do. I attribute this somewhat to the ultra light weight of the guns. Neither gun was totally reliable. Both had extraction problems. I like Kahrs and own a bunch of them, but the .45s just didn't work out for me.

The P45 I rented had very uncomfortable recoil. I was done after two mags.

My K9 on the other hand is quite pleasant to shoot.

Just got a PM45 compact for CC...
I have put about 300 rounds through it without any problems.
I love it! And I am a Colt man...

I'm an oldfart and am very happy with mine, but I ain't gonna shoot more than 50 or 75 rounds downrange at a time.
