Need some Sierra Data - can u help, please?
I just got some 150 gr prohunters for my 30-30, but I don't own a sierra manual. Can someone give me some info on the recommended powder and min/max load for this bullet, case trim length, COL, as well as the stats that go with it? Don't really want to buy the manual just yet till I see how they perform. I only got 23 bullets and would like to try themto see how they shoot (were given to me). Any help would be appreciated

I don't have their manual either but you can email them and they will provide whatever data they have.

Thanks Brian - I'll hop on over to their site. I wasn't sure if they would give that info for free, but I guess that there is no harm in asking. The most they can say is "buy the book".

I have the latest Sierra manual. Are we talking 30-30 Winchester? (Sorry, I'm not a rifle guy.)
I see 150g FN (Sierra bullet #2000) data here, but not a "prohunter." If you still want a the data, let me know. I'll take a pic of the page and send it to you.

I'm surprised that IMG of Sierra data is still on-line.

Assuming you have the flat nose version (#2000) and not the spritzer (#2130), both Pro Hunters. North Central PA - we have hunted Hyner Run area since we were kids. Good luck.

Different levels of 30-30
For the Win 94, Marlin 336, Savage 340, and Springfield 840 I load the 30-30 per the wimpy SAAMI registered max average pressure of 42,000 psi.
For the Savage 219 and Mosin Nagant, I run nearly twice that pressure.
