Rem 870

Im a left handed shooter and my 870 safety is setup for a right handed shooter and ive bein trying to flip the safety button around so i can engage and disengage the safety left handed. But when i do get it flipped the saftey button wont flip back and forth but ofcourse when i put it back to normal it works. Im guessin tht its not gonna work out in my favor to flip the safety button around? Please help with some advice on what can be done to get my problem working for me. Please and thank you

You'll need to check out a gunsmith supply outfit like Brownell's. They can sell you a left-handed safety, since (as you've already found out) the factory safety button on the Remington 870 is not reversible.
