I hope that got your attention, it sure got mine!

Anyone ever heard of Sarsilmaz (sp?). An friend of mine is being offered a Sarsilmaz 12 Gauge O/U shotgun, 3", with 4 chokes for $300... How's this price?

Any opinions or input would be much appreciated!

From my limited knowledge the Sarsilmaz guns are made in Turkey. I believe the American Rifleman did a review of the guns last year?

Probably of low quality, and parts may be difficult to get.

Cheap doubles tend to be less durable than those of higher tags. I'd also be wary of anything that might be hard to find warranty work or parts for.

For $300, I'd look around for an SKB or a much used Browning....
