IWB clip on for snubbie

I was wondering if there are any good options for a clip on IWB for a S&W 360that I could use with basketball/athletic type shorts? Something that would reliably stay clipped to shorts without a belt? If you have any suggestions I would appreciate it. Thanks guys.

IMO, you're going to have a problem trying to find a IWB "clip"
that is going to work without a substantial belt.

Hmm, I was afraid of that. Well, if anyone finds one or sees this post and knows of one, please let me know. Thanks.

There are replacement grips (Barami Hip Grips) that have an extention that hooks on pants or belt, but I've never tried them or talked to anyone that has. (baramihipgrip.com)

Regardless of holster, I'm just not so sure that basketball shorts are going to hold up that rig.

CCW usually involves dressing around your gun to a degree depending on gun. I'd guess ditching basketball shorts is a good place to start if you want to CCW.

The 360 is really light, I don't think you'd have a problem using the Clipdraw with it and no belt, provided you can somehow use a drawstring or other means of holding the shorts up. I did this with some swim trunks and my P11 a couple times, and also used the Clipdraw once with my SP101 (but it was much too heavy).

The combination of basketball shorts and a loaded gun is not going to end well.

I have carried a S&W Model 36 in shorts that had a drawstring before and although it's not ideal it is doable. For me it was usually for a quick run to the store, I doubt I would like to carry like that all day.

Also, look at the "smartcarry" rig.

The Milt Sparks VM-2 with the Kydex clips grip the waistband of jeans and slacks quite securely, in my experience. I imagine that they would be as effective with basketball/athletic shorts.

Clipdraw.com but Id recommend a belt. I do it regularly w/ belt and shorts or longs.
