Winchester "gold" rifles
Does anybody know anything or heard of a set of Wichester rifles supposably like a special release set (centenial or something) that where gold plated? My Dad says he has a set but cannot find them and remembers very little information on them. Just wondering if somebody has heard of these being made. Ive read that Winchester is going out of buisness and it would make me sick to know that my dad lost some priceless rifles

I've seen a variety of gold-plated Winchesters for sale over the years, some more expensive than others. The expensive ones seem to be of the 1-of-300 made variety. Here's one of the less expensive from an old Cherry's sale that I found cached on Google...$495...

Im going to have to hunt 'em down, I have never seen them but I know they have nevery been fired....thanks for the info.
