Silencer footage

I am trying to convince the Democrats in Olympia to pass bill 1604 and allow silencer use in Washington State. I made a video that might convince some of those kooks that silencers are in fact not illegal to possess in the United States.

And some other stuff I shot while in Vegas.

Awesome plane! How many hours do you have in that little beauty?

Not my plane, some guy who lives in Vegas built it. From what I hear, the guy only builds them, doesn't fly them at all any more. I guess he lacks the reflexes now, but stilll likes to build. A friend of his who is an expert took it for the maiden flight as shown. I was suprised at how powerful the electric ducted fans were.

It appeared to be all balsa and plywood with a cloth and paint covering.

Nice work and best of luck in getting Washington to repeal their silly suppressor law. Personally I feel that suppressors should become a standard option for many of the firearms produced today. How cool would it be to go to the range and not need hearing protection? I guess in the mean time, with my wishful thinking, I'll just have to keep filling out form 4's, paying the $200 and wait .

Good video, but I did see a problem. the clip where you list the states that can legally own a suppressor is not correct the one I noticed was Missouri where it is illegal unless you are a class III dealer and you did not show New Mexico where it is legal. You might what to double check that clip to make sure what you are showing is true, because it could cause anyone who might listen to you to disregard your argument if you are showing false information.

I applaud your insinuative to get this law passed and remove useless restrictions.

Thanks. I do not know how I missed NM. Missouri allows civilian ownership by those with a C&R or any kind of dealer's license as far as I know.

I'm very confident that no one in the WA government would notice. I will make the required changes.

Thanks for the offer, but I need mpeg for quality reasons. Based on the opinions of others, I decided to not include any military (or para-military) fireams in the video. The gun owners on various gun forums thought that using AR and AK's with silencers would be counter productive, but the non-gun owners liked my side by side AR-15 demo as it was more obvious that the noise was reduced.

If I had an authentic looking offset Maxim silencer for my Winchester model 94, then I would have used that. But that project is further down the road.
