Are Choate Shellshuckers too 'gamey'?

The 3-gun matches I go to are pretty liberal about equipment, but will all allow shellshuckers, or do some places that are strict on equipment (like IDPA is with handgun equipment) disallow them for being too gamey?

Skunk,

I'd just ask before the next match and buy accordingly.

At our 3 gun matches, the California Compworks and Safariland shellholders are popular. Those are usually in addition to a sidesaddle.

Good Luck!

Any more gamey than having a wrist cuff with 6 rounds of shotgun ammo in it?
