That Encore will shoot too!

A fellow TFLer had some Barnes TSX 7mm bullets that he said wouldn't group worth a wit in his gun, so he sent them to me... Thanks howlnmad.

Well, my gun like them just fine. I'm really getting addicted to this reloading thing.

140gr 7mm Barnes TSX over 44.0gr H380, 60 yards, 15 inch Encore Pro Hunter 7mm-08 topped with a Burris 2-7. Very limited test, just to have fun really. The group is about .69 inches edge to edge, .406 minus one diameter (or if I hadn't fired that 3rd shot):

H380 makes an impressive muzzle flash in a 15" barrel at dusk, let me tell you!

Nice! I'm still pretty new to reloading, and have concentrated on .357 and .44 mag thus far. Have done some limited load development in .243. As you say, this is quite addicting! Looking forward to playing with my own Encore (.223 and .308 barrels).

Legionnaire, I have an old .223 T/C Contender with a 14"bull barrel and a T/C 2x7 scope. Its favorite load is a 60gr Sierra HP with 23.5gr of AA-2230.Before my eyesight started going, I quieted many braggards with varmint rifles. At 100 yrds, this load will shoot about .5" from a bench with sand bags. I used to have a .45-70 barrel for my Contender. Talk about a hoot to shoot.
