Location
One thing that I believe would be mighty helpful would be to request members put a location in thier handle. This would make each member's response more relevant when discussing hunting items or hunting rifles.
For example when discussing a specific caliber or cartridge is would be easy to check the members handle and say to yourself Oh, he is from FL or he is from MT so that response makes sense for that locale. OK, not in the "handle" (that was a miss statment) but in the "location." Last edited by Waterengineer; December 11, 2008 at 11:30 AM. |

I won't say that's a bad idea, but it is unreasonable to request that of our members, and unenforceable.
What would we do about the 61,000+ members we already have? Maybe if you had suggested this around October 1998 ... well, to be honest, it still wouldn't have been implemented. |

Wouldn't that make for a long handle? Members may already display their location in the profile, "about me". Some choose not to, but the choice should be theirs.
